Deputy Director, Global Health

Mi Wang, deputy director of novel intervention implementation science, oversees the linkage between product development and delivery of new HIV interventions.

Mi joined the foundation as a strategy officer in 2016 and supported TB, HIV, and Discovery & Translational Sciences in various strategy development and implementation efforts, including HIV prevention strategy, Target Product Profile definition and affordability analysis for key products, and portfolio management strategy.

Before joining the foundation, Mi was a project leader at the Boston Consulting Group, where she worked across healthcare, technology, and public sectors.

Mi earned a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Molecular Signaling from Columbia University. During her study, she also completed a fellowship in foreign policy and interned with the Council on Foreign Relations in global health.
